Eagle One is a non-profit, all volunteer Police Aviation Unit that is based out of the Fairfield Police Department. Through public and private donations, Eagle 1 is able to help local and state police with the aerial support needed during vital law enforcement efforts as well search and recue mission. Eagle 1 has run a wide variety of missions from search and recovery for missing people in densely wooded areas around CT to helping with aid missions in the parishes surrounding New Orleans, LA helping the FEMS after the devastating hurricanes. Eagle 1 is a great asset to our state, and MP Construction is proud to support their cause during the Touch-A-Truck event that was held at Westfield Trumbull Shoppingtown in October of 2008. Our sponsorship allowed for Eagle 1 to come and land at the event, and gave the general public access to the Huey Helicopter and it’s crew to find out a little more about the great things they do and the wonderful service that they provide to us.
